Position Overview:
Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Entry level Bank Teller to join their client's team in North County. This role involves direct interaction with members to facilitate a range of financial transactions and services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for each member.
Responsibilities:
- Receives members personally or by telephone, and either transacts the member's request or refers them to the suitable staff member.
- Provides routine information concerning company services or policies.
- Receives share deposits, loan payments, Visa payments, prepares proper receipts; verifies amounts and examines checks for endorsements, payees, and authenticity of the check.
- Receives and handles requests for transfers of shares to another account, transfers of shares to loan payments, stop payments, etc., at the member's request.
- Cashes checks and pays out money on verification.
- Provides money orders, cashier's checks, cash advance services, and redeems US Savings Bonds.
- Operates on-line teller terminal.
- Balances cash drawer to totals given by computer.
- Opens additional shares for existing members, as needed.
- May process change of addresses and other such account information as needed.
- May take information from members in order to correct ATM and debit card issues (i.e., re-order cards) and forwards such information to the appropriate department.
- Refers products and services to members to increase member product penetration. Responsible for meeting referral goals, as assigned.
- Complies with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Adheres to all security procedures and regulatory guidelines for Regulation CC, the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, and USA Patriot Act/Customer Identification Act (CIP). Maintains confidentiality of current, past, and potential members and their personal and financial information.
- Performs other assignments that may need the employee's expertise and/or knowledge to facilitate the completion of a task or project.
Requirements:
- Education requirement is an AA degree.
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, first shift.

Salary: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour.
